mini moon ideas
Hi Ladies! Is anyone planning on doing a mini moon right after the wedding and then a honey moon a few months later? Where are you going and for how long?I just feel like I want to celebrate being married for a day or two before going back to real life.
Would love any suggestions. Thanks!!

I would love to know suggestions as well! FH and I will most likely have to do this since he will just be starting his job as an air traffic controller and they don't really get any vacation while training. Right now we were just thinking possibly Fire Island, Montauk, or NYC. If we get 3 days we may go down to Orlando for a long weekend :)

My fiancé and I went to a B&B out in the hamptons last weekend. If any of you are getting married in the spring, summer or fall it would be a nice idea to go and do something like that. It was so relaxing and such a nice weekend.

I know a couple who stayed at Oheka for a night or two and did the whole historical tour thing and they had a great time. Not sure about price-wise though.. it was a gift from the bride's sister to them.

I would suggest anywhere out east: greenport, montauk, hamptons all areas that have lots of different things to do. Also, I don't know how far you want to travel but CT is a ferry ride away from Port Jeff or Orient Point ideal for like Foxwoods or Mystic seaport!

We are going to Minerals Resort and Spa http://www.crystalgolfresort.com/stay/minerals-hotel/ for two nights following our wedding and then on our big honeymoon in February. We just wanted to get away, have some good meals, and unwind. We go here once a year during the summer and always have a great time.

We are just going away for the night after the wedding. Spending the day out east at the wineries and then spending the night at hotel indigo. we really couldn't take off from work and the wineries has a special place in our heart.

We are going to NYC to stay near Times Square and go to a show and a few nice restaurants. Probably book a spa treatment as well. We frequent the east end very often so we want something that is different and fees special.

We're getting married on a Saturday night and we're leaving Sunday afternoon to a resort in NH from Sunday night to Tuesday. Then we're doing our honeymoon in June 2015 to go to Alaska on a cruise :) :) :)

FH and I just got back from spending 4 days on Cape Cod. Its seriously so relaxing and there is so much to do. It's about a 5.5 hour drive from Long Island, but its a pretty ride. Or, you can drive out east and take the ferry from Orient Point to New London, CT and that its a really pretty ride. It still takes about the same time as driving the whole way.Welcome New Vendors
