Mini NRC review
Hi Girls!
So I was in a wedding at the NRC last Sat so I figured I'd give a mini review of the place!!
The weather was HORRIBLE. Rain/cold/wind so it ruined our opportunity to take pics outside by the church. We had to go to the NRC extra early. Once we got there they brought lots of food up to us and bottles of champage which was great bc we were starving!! The plate of raw seafood was amazing!! The bridal suite is very pretty and roomy and thankfully the NRC is beautiful for pictures. That staircase was just perfect.
Everybody there was a pleasure to deal with, she did not have any issues.
One thing I realized is how big the reception room was which she really did not fill out. She had I think about 160 guests. That room can definately fit double and really is meant for larger weddings. It looked very empty with so few guests.
The food was good, nothing to write home about. I got the filet mignon, it was ok. But I wasn't expecting a Ruth Chris filet so I wasn't disapointed.
The cocktail hour unfortunately I did not eat at since I was still full from the bridal suite feast. But it certainly looked plentiful and the set up was very pretty. She also had a martini bar which I don't like martini's but got one anyway. It was yum!
At the end of the night she got the full dessert bar, they re opened the cocktail room and every single table was filled with really awesome desserts. TONS of different options. This gets a wow factor from me!!! I really liked how the room is seperate.
Overall the NRC in my opinion was excellent. The place itself is very elegant. I love that it's one wedding at a time. It's clean and updated and the people working there were great. No complaints about service or food!!
