mini rant. . .how would you feel?

I was nervous about getting high centerpieces because I was always nervous that they would fall over!! well, i knew it would look best in my reception room, so I did it.

Well, while i was speaking to other guests at my wedding on Saturday, I saw a family member of mine (a not highly respected person) grabbing my centerpiece vase and tilting it at nearly a 45-60 degree angle! now, the flowers were in a glass piece just sitting on top of the vase. I couldn't believe my eyes! and then he did it again!!!! I wanted so badly to go over and say something.

if that centerpiece had fallen, it would caused a HUGE disruption at my wedding!! broken things. . yada yada. This is a very disrespectful 65-68 year old man!!

I know I'll probably just forget about it, and never deal with that family again, but I just want to call them out on it and express how immature and disrespectful that was!!

Ummmm *** Was he doing that? I would be mad cause he could have caused a lot of unnessessary havoc!

not to mention! i overheard the same person at my Engagement party last year:

His 15 yr old daughter: 'I don't even know half of the people'

great parenting!!! way to teach them the meaning of two families coming together!

Ugh, that's super annoying!!!

But at the end of the day, you had an amazing day and nobody's stupidity can bring that down

Whattttt? He could've hurt someone if that fell over. He could've caused a fire if there were candles on the tables! People just don't THINK!
