Mini Review - Jericho Terrace

Mini Review - Jericho Terrace

I went to a wedding there last night and thought I'd give a mini review.
The place is very pretty and the food was delicous. There was a beef dish during cocktail hour (I think beef teriyaki) that was sooooo good! I also had salad, pasta and for main, I had the salmon which was yummy.... The wait staff was friendly and the service was also good.
My only complaint would be that during the ceremony (which was also at JT), you could hear music, clapping and talking from another room so that was distracting.
I went to a party there a few years ago and I remember having to wait a long time to get our car from the valet... this time, it was pretty quick.

There are some pics in my album of the entrance & reception room [it was the smaller room downstairs].

thank you for sharing - i appreciate the review!

the noise issue seems to be a common complaint with JT - i am not getting married there so i am not too worried about it, but it does seem like something they should look into fixing

I went to a wedding at the rainbow room with the same problem. While the couple was saying their vows you could hear rap music coming form the room next door.

I'd be so peeved if I spent all that money to have my wedding at the rainbow room and I couldn't hear my husbands vows!!!!!!!

Italian Tradition? What does the streamers mean?

In my family, we do this at most weddings (usually during a second dance later in the evening). Long streamers are handed out to guests while the bride & groom dances. Then each guest goes around the couple, as they are dancing, with the streamer... It symbolizes the bride & groom being bound together through marriage.
