mini review of george washington manner
I went to an e-party at GWM yesterday for my best friend from high school. She and I go way back.
Valet - wonderful, attentive, I had a few presents (large boxes) and even though there were other people waiting he was very patient.
Host - there were apparently 6 parties going on at the same time and he could not find ours on the sheet so DF found it for him. Otherwise, you could not tell that there were six other parties.
Room - Lovely, I sat under the air-conditioner so it was chilly, but it is a nice room. Apparently, guests on the other side of the room were hot and they kept asking that they raise the temp in the room. I would be mindful of that since the bride and I froze while other guests were really hot.
Food - wonderful. I loved the pipetted potatoes and vegies. The bread was fantastic! DF loved the potato puffs. The shrimp was good too. Plenty of food. They also had an omelet bar.
Wait Staff - extremely attentive. Needed more chairs at our table and they were immediately brought to the table.
All in all, a lovely afternoon.
