Mini-Review on BM fitting #1

So, I got home from my first fitting for a BM's dress today. My friend had us order our dresses through Bridal Reflections in Carle Place since that's where she bought her dress from. Hopefully this will be helpful to other brides/BM's on here that are buying their dresses from here.

First off, the ladies at the front desk were so snotty and rude.....it's as if we walked in and asked them, 'Can I get a Big Mac'....seriously. They looked at us like we were in the wrong place, meanwhile we had an appointment.

Then, the lady who was working in the BM section was one of those good-ole disgruntled employees. Overworked, underpaid and complaining to whomever would listen to her. What a turn-off....

The fitting room where the seamstress came into to pin my dress was tiny....she was rolling her eyes and huffing and puffing AT ME when she said turn and literally, there wasn't room to turn!

On top of that, my dress is a brand-new, personally ordered dress. Why in God's name would there be four holes in the side-seams of the dress? I didn't get this.

Overall, as you can tell, this was a negative experience. Maybe on a Tuesday at 11am they are stressed out, maybe they are understaffed or maybe due to my luck, I encountered their unfriendliest.....what a horrible morning

I mean, when we went to order the dresses, I wasn't impressed at all. That's why I didn't even go there to try on gowns....I thought that maybe that day was a bad day...but they are 2 for 2 so far

I've heard so many mixed reviews about them - sorry you had a bad experience

Just so you know - those women read these boards. . . so if you still have to do business with them i wouldnt post on here too much

i once posted about how overpriced the place was and i got a few voicemails the next day about 'working with them on the prices' etc - out of nowhere!

Yeh, that is strange. I wasn't too specific and maybe since I'm not the bride, they won't even care. It's ashame that they are the way they are....if the owners knew that these workers deterred customers, I'm sure they'd get the boot!

i have never had a good experience with the bridal reflections in carle place. it's literally up the block from me and when i walked in to make an appointment they made me go home and call them.
they are so rude there, i can't handle it.
