Mini-vacation to Maine

We are trying to plan a mini-vacation this summer to southern Maine. Does anyone have any suggestions for a hotel or bed and breakfast? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

If you are going up to Bar Harbor, definitely look into the Ulikana. It is really pretty....

Last year we went to Kennebunkport (really great town & good eats). We went to a little motel though, but it has indoor/outdoor pools & a snack bar/bar by the pool---low key but inexpensive & not too far from town.
