minimoon ideas?

I am a BM in my friend's wedding.. for our wedding gift the wedding party wants to give her and her FH a weekend away because they aren't planning on going on their official HM until next April (they're getting married this Sept.)


any ideas for a minimoon at the end of Sept/beginning of Oct??

FH and I are going on a minimood there after we get married b/c we're going on our HM in March.

That time of year is when the grapes are harvested - maybe a romantic trip to LI's vineyards.

We were going to do our mini-moon at Montauk, but now we're thinking of going into the city.

Cape Cod, Martha's Vineyard are also choices, or Niagra Falls (you could also find low-cost airline tickets to there!)
