minimum

We invited over 260 people to our wedding and we guaranteed 200. Our response date is next tuesday and approx. 100 people still haven't responded. A lot of no's came though from the people that did respond This *****. I don't even care if we get gifts - I just don't want to have to pay for plates that aren't being eaten.

If you dont make your minimum see if your reception hall will throw in extras for you. I thought I had the same issue. My response was today and 80 people didnt respond. FH has been on the phone all day and just about everyone is coming. The majority of people thought we 'knew' they were coming.

You will be surprised at how many people respond at (or even AFTER) your RSVP date. We had 1/2 of list outstanding a few days before our RSVP date. Many of the late responses were Yes's. Good Luck.

I'm in the same boat. I think a lot of people believe we 'know' they are coming. I am dreading the task ahead when the RSVP date comes and goes.

Definitely see if your RH will throw in extras for you if you are under your minimum.

We had a table of people cancel on us days before the wedding so we ended up calling our friends that we didn't invite b/c of space limitations - do you have a 'B' list in case you are under?
