so FILs insisted on inviting EVERYONE in the family which ended up making our guest list over 260...room holds MAX of 220...min. is 165. well, with 2 weeks to go on rsvps.....we only have 97 yes's (and only 34 we can be sure really are coming). b/c of their insistance, we changed the wedding date for a 3rd time to get a larger room...and now i don't think we need it at all!!!
we have over 100 rsvps that still haven't come in!

My RSVP date was this past Monday, I'm still under my minimum, and still missing a bunch of responses. I HEAR YOU ON THIS.

II too was in a similare (response) situation. We received 12 yes's on our response date and 2 after, which was this past Thurs. We are still way below our minimum and still waiting on 80 people to respond. Ahhhh, what fun!

my minimum is 150 and right now i'm at 135. this is exactly where i wanted to be so that i could tell the hall that i want the chair covers and mini viennese

We are still missing a lot too but our response date isn't until 6/10. I think we are going to have more people than we wanted though.

i'm in the same boat - FIL's invited everyone under the sun which means we had to take a bigger room. I have a feeling a lot of their people won't come (they didn't even remember the first names of some of their guests...hello, that should be a red flag not to invite them) and then we won't make our minimum.
