Minor Vent...About AHOLE PEOPLE!!!!

Ok so my best friend who is my MOH and I are really close. Love ehr to death-my sister from another mother and all that. But her husband? OYE...He is one of those people who's TOTALLY self-absorbed; the kind who cuts you off mid convo if you ar speaking to his wife because he MUST talk to her at that exact moment (Does it ALL The time, not just emergencies) or when you are sitting at dinner, will knock over your sushi platter because he just MUST do work with his laptop at the table, nevermind that you told him he didnt need to come out that night if he was busy. The kind who with every wedding vendor they have dealt with, he has haggled, threatened and haggled more, trying to get them down low which we ALL do but its the WAY he does it. Like he expects them to kiss his A$$ for whatever pennies he throws their way then he BRAGS about how he did it...

And this gem...is amrrying my best friend. Well publically now. They did a secret wedding 2 years ago. ANyway, this is my newest gripe...

Our wedding starts at 11:30 am and we start taking pics at 8am. So since I live in NJ and she lives in New Rochelle nY, I aked her and the rest of my BP to stay the night in a hotel I AM paying for day before so we dont have to worry about anyone gettign trapped over the GW with traffic. SO when he found out, he whined about it to her, then to me and Pete in front of her. And all because he has to be without her for ONE NIGHT BECAUSE OF HER BEST FRIEND'S WEDDING! Best part? CALL ME UP ALST NIGHT and tells me he thinks I am being selfish!!!!!!!!!

Hold up, he called to tell you that YOU are being selfish by asking your BM's to spend the night before your wedding with you AND your wedding is in the AM?

Um, it's a pretty standard request and not a selfish one at all!!!!! for having to deal with him!

WOW - what a thing to have to deal with, esp so close to the wedding when you have way better things to do!! Does your MOH recognize that he is an arse-hole? Will she come to the hotel no matter what he says?

Yea she is coming but I know she feels stressed. he's such a apin. The type to call 50 times while we are out and wont LET her ..yes I said LET HER come out to NJ alone because he 'doesnt trust how she can handle NJ traffic.' NEVER MIND that ehr MOTHER lives in NJ!

Ugh I just cannot stand him. He's 5'7 and skinny as a rail and bald but he runs like a maniac and likes to say how 'his body ia an amazing machine.'

OMG sounds like some of my friend's hubbys!!!! The world must revolve around them...and god forbid they take a few hours and spend it with friends...i had my one friend's Dh SHOW UP where we were hanging out once...i was so pissed!
