Mirrors

Hi,

I am having a round table at my wedding. I will having a centerpiece with a mirror underneath.

This is the part where I need advice. I found 12' by 12' square mirror tiles much cheaper than 12' circular tiles.

Would it look bad to have a square mirror with a round table? I will be putting votive candles and rose petals on the mirror along with a CP with three candles on it. (I will be taking the wreath off!)

I think square ones will be fine and since your centerpiece is round, I think the square will stand out more than the circular ones.

I think even if it wasn't cheaper I would still got with the square...it adds a different dimension to the round table.

The above exactly! So true, especially because the holder and candles are round.

I was thinking of doing almost the same thing- just wondering what kind of prices you found and where!! :)

I think both would be fine by the way!

Thinking about it more I would go with either one

6 12inch by 12 inch square tiles at Home Depot for 10 bucks with normal edge. 20 bucks for beveled edge.

If I do buy the square, I would buy the regular edge!

My centerpieces are candles on a square mirror and they(the florist) will be adding flowers to them for us.

I think a square mirror on a round table will definitely make the centerpiece stick out. It gives it an abstract look.

I don't think it would make too much of a difference with a square mirror. Is there any way you can post pics with each choice?

Hello! I'm glad you liked the CPs, they are so pretty. I saw mirrors, square and round, at Walmart yesterday for either $3 or $4 each if that helps. I think they were $2.84

I remember needing mirror for an art project... I actually found pretty decent sized round mirrors at the dollar store!! They had this ugly pink plastic frame around it but the frame popped off super easy!

But I think the square mirror might look cooler on the table, but I would need to see it to make an official choice!
