miserable right now

i got my income tax $$$ and i knew i wanted to buy an IPOD. so i went and looked and bought the ipod nano for 189 plus a 60$ protection plan at circut city. so i spent 271 all together.

i feel like crap right now.

i havent went crazy and bought anything since we moved in together in feb of last year. (except FH and I bought a new MAC on saturday)

i am having major buyers remorse and want to take it back.

does anyone know if circuit city lets you return an item AND the protection plan?

i' wanna take it back and just get the shuffle for $80. maybe then i wont feel like i could be doing something better with the $$$

Awww i wouldnt feel bad, every once in a while we need to splurge. I dont know what there return policy is but Hope it works out for you

i imagine since you just bought you can get a full refund and be done with the whole business.... GL!!!!

BTW, just think of it as treating yourself to something nice. you're going through a rough time right now - if you're happy to have an ipod, enjoy it!!

i would keep it, like Pepper said you are at a time that you need something to make you feel special, and its your Tax return.. your SuPpose to spend money on splurges like that.. and honestly its not that much ... when I got my ipod it was almost $300~

treat yourself and know that you deserve it!!!

I think Circuit City charges a 'restocking' fee for returns..but I'm not sure if it's if the box is opened or not.

i feel sooooooo bad. we are going to vegas in 3 months and i could really use the $$$ to buy a dress to wear to the wedding we're going to, plus a wedding present. plus we have a payment to the hall due next month

awww don't be so hard on yourself... yes, you could use the money for better things but the ipod is what you *wanted*. that's why you bought it in the first place. that dress that you could have bought isn't for cassie.... it's for someone else's wedding. i don't want to rationalize your purchase, but you'll get many years out of an ipod and you obviously really wanted it. i don't want to convince you to keep it, i just hope that, if you do, you won't keep thinking about what else you could have done with your money!
