Does it really matter which one is used? I prefer using Miss. for single & unmarried females for invites.
Am I going to go to the invite etiquette hall of shame for doing this? lol

Re: Miss. vs. Ms
I will use Miss for unmarried women.... Ms for divorced or someone the Brits would refer to as madam.

Re: Miss. vs. Ms
Ms is used for older unmarried women, divorced women, or women who do not want the title of Mrs.- at least that was what I was told several years ago

Re: Miss. vs. Ms
Another invite question (I'm trying to finish them today hah). So FH and I decided for the inner envelope we liked how Miss, Mr., etc. looked so we used that. For example:
Mr. Bob Jones & Miss. Sandy Joe
Now, for the OUTER envelope, when I put the address, do I put the same thing again or just put Bob Jones?

Re: Miss. vs. Ms
i will be doing the same for my wedding invites because they are more formal this way, but in everyday correspondence, Ms. can go for any unmarried woman as well (especially if you are like 40 and never married and don't want to remain Miss)

I would put the Mr, Ms, Miss on outside too

Thanks! If more than one person is getting invited, can I just address it to one of them in the house?
