Missing in action

Hey ladies! I've been lurking a lot the last week or so and I've missed you all! Last week my world was flipped upside down with family issues and I just haven't felt like doing anything. My mom is super sad and I just need to be there for her. To add to that, my grandma is going in for surgery tomorrow (for those of you who have been following the story). The three rounds of chemo worked great, and the doctors are confident about the surgery tomorrow, but I'm just worried... It's a major surgery and they are removing a portion of her lung.... all of your prayers have worked miracles thus far, so if you can keep her in your prayers again tonight and the rest of the week, I'd really appreciate it.

I'm a firm believer that life goes on, so as long as the surgery goes well and she is ok, we are still on for the Passion Party on Saturday night. I'll be bumping that thread today as a reminder.

WELCOME BACK!!!!

So sorry about your mom. Glad to hear the chemo is going great for your grandmother, and i wish her all the luck with her surgery tomorrow and pray for a speedy recovery my friend is actually having surgery tomorrow too bc this weekend she was rushed to the hospital with a partially collapsed lung, this was after doctors sent her home a few days before

The doctors being so positive about the surgery is a good sign, they've been doing very well with your grandmother so far and she seems like a fighter and wish her continued success in fighting this battle

Danielle!! Glad to see you are back on here.

I missed you...but I havent been on much myself either. I am glad to hear your grandma is doing better. And I will keep you and your family in my thoughts and hope for her surgery to go well. I am sure it will. And I hope for a speedy recovery.

I know my grandma is having a few rough weeks right now with her chemo. I feel bad fro her and her brother just passed away 4 days ago so she is thinking this si the end for her as well. I dont know why but we are trying to keep her hopes up. But I am very glad the chemo is working for your grandma and I am definitely thinking of you and your family

Thank you, Denise. I will also keep your friend in my prayers as well. The stuff with my mom, I (we)never saw coming so it's been a week of shock, but she is one of the strongest women I know and that is consoling. Her health is fine and that is all that matters.
