Is it acceptable to e-mail a friendly reminder to those who have not sent back their rsvp's?

Re: missing rsvp's
I don't see why not - especially if you correspond via email regularly with this person.

Has your RSVP date passed? If it has, than I would either e-mail or call (I personally would call so I would get them on the phone instead of waiting for an email back).

My date is today too! Would it be horrible to not chase these people down? If they don't RSVP, why should I call them or try to track them down, ya know? Less people I have to pay for, that's how I look at it. Most of them are on FH's list and I could care less if they don't come. I told him, who didn't respond and he said he wasn't going to chase them down either.

it's today, I'm going to e-mail them letting them know the RSVP date was today. I know people are busy with other things. If they dont' respond to the e-mail I'd definitely call them, well depending on how much I like them

I honestly don't plan on chasing everyone down. There are people invited that I knew weren't coming. I'd just be upset if they actually did come and didn't RSVP. We made our minimum so I really don't care either way, I know it sounds terrible!

We have 139 coming and our minimum is 150 but we have 4 members of the bridal party that haven't even RSVP'd yet! Why don't people take this seriously?! It's so frustrating. We're waiting on 73 people, and they're mostly FH's friends and family, I feel bad for him!

yes it is if it is two weeks before the wedding. In general I think halls need the count one week before so usually people expect that rsvp dates are three weeks before the wedding. Goodluck!!!

Re: missing rsvp's
My RSVP is today - I missing 20 replys. I know about half of them are coming, the others I have no idea. I guess me and FH will call. I would just like to say forget it but who knows if they will show up?

I wanted to use 08/08/08 as our RSVP but we got the invites out late so we went with 08/15/08.
At this point we could have just sent out e-vites the day before.
