Missy is so bad!!!!! (LONG)
Last night i was at my wits end with her. I took Missy for her ususal walk after work and locked myself out of the apartment so i had to wait until my FI came home. So i was walking her and she starting freaking out - jumping and biting me and getting crazy. Now she sometimes does this outside its like she is possessed by the devil. I guess you can call it the puppy crazies - but 100 times worse. She growls and barks and shows her teeth along with biting. She hasnt bit hard enough to make me bleed but it doesnt seem like playing either. I do thing that she is trying to be the Alpha female big time. It was so bad last night i just wanted to giver her away. I though dogs were supposed to be a fun thing to have. Well, needless to say, i calmed down and decided to keep her because i do love her and cant imagine her getting put in another home not knowing if they will care for her like i do.
I have a trainer and we been trying to follow everything she tells us, but sometimes slack on the obedience training and Missy still doesnt get it.
I have even kicked her out of our bed because i have read that you should not let dogs in your bed at all. She sleeps in the kitchen now. I hope this behavior will stop soon. Has anyone on here had problems with their dogs trying to be the Alpha????? I guess i just need to know im not the only one out there that is going crazy. TIA!!!
