Mixed Feelings on QBC

Mixed Feelings on QBC

I'm narrowing down my photographers. My wedding is Sept. 4 so I'm running out of time. One choice is Queens Bridal Center in Mineola. I'm not sure why, but my FH and I both have uneasy feelings about them. We're meeting with Ferdnando on Tuesday. Please write back with your experiences, good or bad!

I have not dealt with this vendor, but experience tells me that if you are not sure or feel uncomfortable, don't do it! The worst thing is to spend so much money with a vendor and then not be sure if you made the right decision. That would tear me up. Good luck!

I agree...when we were choosing our vendors the quality and price were factors...but so was our gut feeling....we have learned from experience to go with your gut. If something is telling you to stay away...then stay away.

I am using QBC and Fernando too. I found him to be very open to ideas that I have and his attitude seemed very easy going.

I have not used them but a gilr I work with did and she was happy with them. I looked into them myself and the only reason I didn't consider them is becvause I didn't like the pictures they posted to there web site.

Yes, the website pictures are terrible! Maybe that's part of the reason why I'm unsure about them. Also, I called once for directions and was put on hold. A lady picked up my extension by accident and started rambling about a bride's pictures that were missing...yikes!!

Personally, from what you have written, I would say don't use them. Your photographer is with you ALL day and has the ability to make or break your wedding day. If you feel uncomfortable AT ALL, keep looking. My friend recently got married and her photographer ruined her wedding by pulling her and her family out of the reception for an HOUR AND A HALF! ANd the pictures came out HORRIBLE. (Different photographer than you are asking about, but she was unsure about her photographer when she booked him).
