I find myself obsessing over houses on this site that i can't afford... lol

anyone else as crazy as me?

I LOVE MLSLI.com, its so helpful

BUT thats why I put in the price ranges myself and dont go over the amount we want to spend, so this way I dont see those other options

im obsessed im on there everyday loveing that the houses are comming down in price. the enonomy need to get better so the banks will lend again

yes, i am obsessed. we bought our house in may and i am still always on it. i like to see what's still out there and the prices at the moment

I'm the opposite actually! I don't even let myself look at the ones over my budget (which is most of them).

I pick the cheapest house, send it to FH and tell him how much we could do with it if we put in some bushes and painted. Then he emails back and makes some comment about it looking like something out of a murder mystery or that we'll have to evict the vampires that live there first.

thats funny. i soooo want a house where i can just move in and do practically nothing to it except for maybe like, painting... but its kinda impossible to get a house for a cheap price on LI w/o having some work go into it!

I love looking at homes too!! We are going to buy next year and it will prob be a tiny fixer-uper!

I'm always looking for apartments because we will hopefully be able to get one in about 6 months. I hope prices go down a bit or else we might have to settle on a studio since the most we can seem tp spend is about 1,000 a month tops.. even that's a stretch.

I used to stalk that website lol...but the house we wound up buying I never even saw online. And the listing didn't impress me. But when I went to see it, I loved it! But yea, I love that site. Lots of good stuff to look at and it's good for comparing prices in certain areas.
