mmmmmmmmmm- cake

FH and I just came back from the Bride's Magazine Cakewalk in Grand Central Terminal. Some of these cakes are unreal; absolutely amazing and delicious. The champagne was pretty darn good too, maybe I'll go back tomorrow!!

Can I ask, do they bug you to buy things much? I'd like to go to see the cakes, but I'm not in the mood for sales pitches at this point (plus we've bought everything for the reception)!

Actually, there was no sales pitch at all. They have different demos at certain times, for example I was there at about 1:30 PM and there was a baker there demonstrating the art of cookie decorating. People who were interested gathered at her table. The cakes were displayed all over the hall and you could vote for your favorite. Another area had cake samples for tasting and a glass of champagne.

I believe the cake walk ends tomorrow (Thursday) at 7 PM.
