It's cheaper to order the 5 lb M&M bags instead of the 8 oz bags. So for all the past brides out there... if i'm having around 160 guests... how many bags should i get? 3???
my boxes are... 2' x 2' x 1 1/4'

the 5lb bags are not personalized.. I was told by the M&M's customer rep. but the 8oz bags are personalized and I asked how many M&m's are in a bag and the rep said that there are 250 m&m's per bag.
so I order 7 + 1 free 8oz bag
I'm getting a total of 2k m&m's... but they are super expensive!

has anyone used them and actually seen them? i'm just curious as to what they really look like in the end....i've seen bride's post the website images...but i've not seen the real ones....does anyone ahve a pic of the real deal from their wedding?

I didn't even know there was a 5 lb bag. LOL I am going to buy them. Those are our initials. I think it is the cutest thing.

The 5 lb bags are $49.95 where as the 8 oz bags are $4.99 each (for non-customized ones).
Customized M&M's are $11.25 each for an 8 oz bag.
According to the company, the 8 oz bags have 250 m&M's in it. The 5 lb bag has 2500 m&m's.

The customized M&MS come out perfectly. You can definitely read exactly what it is that you wanted written on them. I don't have pics of mine as they're all packed up for the favors but yeah.
