I didnt watch the new last night but there was a horrible event in Minneapolis that happend last night. There was a bridge that collapsed and 7 people have been report dead, dozens injured and 20+ reported 'missing'. This is soo sad and they do not know the reason for the collapse as of yet.

i think that throughout the country there needs to be a greater emphasis on refurbishing existing infrastructure (ei: N.O. levees, MN bridge, Grand Central steam pipes) rather than just building newer and newer structures across the board, there has to be a balance of creating new but also improving upon the aging~my heart is going out this morning to all of those that suffered a loss due to this tragic collapse
