can someone tell me etiquette wise what color are the mob and mog spose to wear? i mentioned to my mom that my fmil will wear the same color as her and i think she almost fainted ast the thought.. and explained that no.. no one wears the same color as the bride and the mother of the bride.. (didn't know this..) what colos are u' mothers/ and mothers of the groom weaing?
I believe etiquette says the MOB picks her dress first and then the MOG picks hers. That being said, it is of course a personal thing, dependant upon your situation. My FMIL got her dress (red) and my mother has yet to get hers, but she is thinking either green, silver, or beige. I don't think the 2 moms should wear the same color dress and I'd surely be majorly POed if one fo them wanted to wear the same color as me!
I say put them in matching garb. It'd be hysterical in photos.
