MOB dress

Did anyone's Mom not get their dress yet? My Mom does not seem too concerned but I am starting to feel like I we are cutting it close.

my mom did, but his mom just started to look, i think they have enough time.. i think the dress stores can get them in pretty fast depending on the wedding, I dont think they take your $$ for a dress that they know wont be in, in enough time

I was just in the bridal salon yesterday looking at MOB dresses with FMIL, the salesperson said to be safe give it 4 months

with less then 3mths to my wedding my mom has yet to find her dress ..but shes not going to be ordering it. Shes prob. going to go to Macys or something and purchase it off the rack...I just stopped arguing with her and Im letting her do whatever she wants.

Don't worry.....my wedding date is BEFORE yours and my mom still hasn't found anything she likes

Mine didn't. My parents travel alotin the spring, so she keeps telling me 'after our trips- in May!' I told her she may have to order something and her response was 'I'm not getting some $1000 dress- why would I need to order?' I tried to explain that there are plenty of less expensive dresses that need to be ordered...but she didn't care.

Oh well.

I am getting married a week before you and my mom and my FMIL both still didnt get their dresses. I am a last minute kinda girl anyway so I am not stressing. Everything always works out in the end!

I'm mid October and my mom got her dress, but only because we found something she loved at (of all places...) David's Bridal - NEVER thought we'd find something there for her, but we went in just to see... After having tried on some gorgeous gowns in RK, my mom realized that she wanted something beautiful BUT SIMPLE, and we didn't find that at RK. So when we went to David's another day, we found a dress that looked wonderful on her and got it.

My FMIL doesn't have her dress yet. I think we're going to start looking in a few weeks.

But seriously, you still have time! I was told it would take about 3 months to get MOB dresses in, but there are other places to get dresses for the moms too - Macy's, Saks, Bloomies, David's, etc.

My mom has been looking, but hasn't purchased anything. We have another 8 months, so everyone says we have plenty of time. I think by the summer they said for her to order. GL!

hey date twin!!! I think my mom just found her dress over the weekend.....it was on sale at Estelle's....so they only had one left and it wasn't in her size, so we're going to order it from Bridal Elegance...I hope it doesn't take too long to come in, since she needs alterations!!!!

I just ordered my mom's dress this week, but we paid an extra $30 to rush it! you should def start looking soon cause some dresses can take up to 3 months to come in and you have to leave time for alterations!

My mom said she will look in August. I asked her if she thought that was enough time for it to come in when ordered and alterations. And do you know what she said? Ordered? From Macy's? I don't think she is going to get a dress from a bridal shop.
