MOB Dress

My wedding colors are going to be ivory and crimson or ivory and black. I have no clue what color dress my mom should wear. Any thoughts?

Crimson would pretty for a MOB. Unless you don't want her actually matching...just coordinating...maybe silver?

My dresses are black and white and my FMIL wants to wear an eggplant tone and my mom is thinking wedgewood...it all blends somehow unless they start getting into fluorescent colors.

Mothers don't have to match your colors.
They should wear what ever looks good on them.

The only (rule) is no white, ivory or light beige, and they should not wear the same color.

my mom wants navy...eggplant is nice too
my friends mom wore a deep copper and it was beautiful...it would compliment either of your color schemes too

it also depends on your moms complexion...what colors typically looking flattering on her?

Thanks, ladies. My mom looks good in almost anything. I think shades of red look great on her. I just didn't if her dress should match the BM dresses or if it even matters. Thanks for all the tips.

My mom wants eggplant too.. it's like the joke of the day... how she has always wanted to wear an eggplant colored gown hehe..... i told her that it doesn't matter to me whatever color she wants to wear is fine.... it will blend in im sure.... (and knowing my mom... she will be in a completely different color by the time she actually goes and gets the dress hehe)
