MOB Dress

MOB Dress

So, my wedding is this September and every time I try to schedule a date to bring my mother dress shopping she tells me she wants to wait a couple of more weeks so she can lose more weight. She is about 5'2, 190 lbs.

Does anyone know a) a dress place for plus sized women? and b) a dress place that sells off the rack because I am concerned that her dress won't come in on time if we have to order it.

HELP! This is the one thing I'm REALLY starting to stress out about...

Re: MOB Dress

I have great luck at Estelle's Dressy Dresses for less in Farmingdale for all my dress shopping needs... they have a variety of dresses and styles and are resonably priced IMO.

Re: MOB Dress

My mom ordered hers from My Daughters Wedding in Great Neck. They had a great selection and their prices are reasonable.
She ordered it about 2 months ago and it already came in a few days ago.
If she starts looking now, I think she'd be fine when ordering it. Just tell them when you need it by

Re: MOB Dress

Most designers have plus size available. Tell your mom that she can alway have it altered if she does loose the weight. Its just not one fitting they will do it a few times.
My mom FMIL went to En toto in Manhasset and my mom got her at the Wedding Plaza.

Good Luck

My mil got her dress from Sugurplum. All the dresses in the store are available for (immediate) purchase, and they definitely have larger sizes available.
