yes they do. My mom and fmil both got there dresses from there. And my fmil had gone to at least 6 other places looking before she found her dress there!
They have an ok selection. My mom got her dress at Charmet on Bell Blvd in Bayside right near the LIRR. (not too far from Macy's). The place is pretty old, and the atmosphere isn't the best, but they have a bigger selection than Macy's and the price of the alterations is included in the price of the dress. No appts necessary. Sara Ann helped us - she works on Sundays.
I always wondered if that place had anything good lol. My fsil is getting married also next year so my fmil has to start shopping for another dress. I think I will tell her to check them out.
I grew up in Bayside, so my mom and I went in one day bc we had nothing to do....It's defininitely 'worn' inside, but they did have a good MOB dress selection. And they have lots of sizes too... We also took a ride over to Charisol on Northern Blvd in Flushing (around 159th st) and they had a pretty decent selection as well - but the parking sucks around there!!!
