I need togo with my mom this weekend to look for dresses. The thing is my mom is in her early 40's and refuses to wear anything 'old' looking. Can anyone recommend a place in suffolk to go shopping???
Someone mentioned Eva's in sayville but as far as I can see they dont have a website.

Re: MOB dress help!
Try Lord & Taylor etc. I'm taking my FMIL this weekend to regular retail stores because this coming weekend is when all the fancy dresses are on sale since it's after New Years.

Re: MOB dress help!
My mom is young as well and she got her dress at Macys in Smithaven Mall...the dress has a jacket to go over it that would make it look a little 'older' but I doubt she will wear the jacket, and without it the dress is simple, elegant, and even a little sexy!

My mom and fmil bought their dresses at En Toto, in great neck. It is directly across from leonard's. Our mom's also didn't want to wear anything 'old' looking. We also went to look at Meika's in Woodbury Common. Good Luck!

My Mom is young too - probably the same age as yours - and she likes Dorothy Walsh in Northport Village. She has some great things.
