Hey Ladies....I'd really like to buy my Mother's Dress. But, I need help....our wedding is not too formal. It's outside at a Vineyard, during the day time.
My Mother is small.....only 5'3', but very pear shaped....I know that she would want something A-line....any suggestions on the best styles and places to go? She's very traditional.

if she is really really traditional, you could go to Macy's dress dept. They always have the traditional MOB dresses (A-line, to the knee or floor, with a long matching coat)

go to estelle's dressy dresses in farmingdale. they have a traditional MOB section (with bridal) but they also have 'regular' formal dresses. my mom got her MOB dress there on clearance for $75! and it was very traditional, a-line, and flattering. i sent my friend's mother there, too, and she got her MOB dress for like $140. that place has TONS of stuff. i love dresses and whenever i go in there i start to sweat! (i have like a billion dresses and LORD KNOWS i don't need any more!)
