Need store recommendations. We went to David's Bridal today and had no luck.
Wedding is 3/20 so we are short on time. Need places in Queens or Nassau.

I know a few places in queens that has gorgeous dresses, they're all on Austin street in forest hills. I LOOOVE OZ and have bought dresses from there before and also my mom and MOG bought their dresses for the wedding there. Chez moi is good too and also alexandra. Theres also a few other dress stores on austin street too.
OZ and Chez moi have a big selection of Jovani dresses which they have a site so you can check some dresses out. They have other designers too but just to give you an idea of some dresses they have. And they can also order any jovani dress even if its not in the store.
My mother is about a size 16 or 18. I don't know if the dress stores on Austin Street would have something that she would look nice in?

alexandra i know definitely has bigger sizes and a big selection. I remember seeing alot of dresses in bigger sizes. Even at OZ and chez moi they will have some bigger sizes in the stores but they also can order it from the place in that size. Definitely try alexandra first.

nordstrom.com has some nice dresses. I just bought my Mother Dress from there. I notice online has more selection then instore. If there is anything wrong you can return at the store

Try En ToTO couture, its across the street from Leonard's. They have great selections and prices

Theres a place called My party Boutique its on Grand Avenue kinda near Queens blvd, they had alot of dresses with i went with my mom and she found her dress the same day. I'm sure they have all sizes. Its a small store so you get alot of one on one service.
