How much input/influence did you have in the style and color of your mom's dress. I am going shopping with mom tommorow and I need to find out what to say to her if she'll be asking me what type of dress I want her to wear...

Do you have any family in your bridal party, becasue you don't ant your mom to clash with BP memebers if they will be in the same pictures.
I told my mom that I didn't want her to wear a jacket and she couldn't clash with the BP, since my SIL is in the BP.

My mother is a Young mother. She doesn't want an farty looking dress with beads all over it and a jacket. I am leaving it up to her, whatever she wants to wear, as long as she doesn't clash with the bridal party!

My mom knows the colors of my bm's so we'll try our best not to clash...
Marcella, if your mom looks like you, I am sure she'll look hot!!!

My mom showed me 2 dresses & said 'pick 1' so I did she didn't have to cuz she has excellent taste & I trusted her to find something complimenatry. But if we go shoppijng see something else, there's still a chance of changing it but she doesn't have to I love the one she chose already!

Let your mom pick out what she wants, -- there are so many nice young mothers dresses.... Dont worry about clashing, usually mom is not in any pics with the bridal party. unless you have sisters in the bridal party, and you take a family shot.....
