Where is a good place to take my mother to buy the MOB dress. I live in Nassau County but will travel. What is the average cost? I can't see her spending any more than $400. Is that reasonable?
My mom got her dress at My Daughter's Wedding II in Great Neck. They had a huge selection for MOB. Hers was a steal at $155 (the people in the store couldn't even believe they had a dress marked that! -- we felt very lucky) but they have all sorts of ranges. The people were quite helpful too.

My mom bought hers at Macy's Bridal in Lake Grove. It was $350 or $375.

My mom went to sugar plum in lynbrook she spent $650 but I think they had dresses that were cheaper.

Oh I havent gotten to MOB dress yet with my mom but that will be a pain in the butt. My mom is tall and shaped like Kim K. Flat stomach and curves everywhere getting her in a typical MOB dress will be impossible but hopefully I can have a little more say. Pronovias Fiesta collection has gorgeous dresses that can be MOB

She has already told me ' my dress has to be figure flattering, backless and sexy'. I was thinking in my head okay if you say so dear.
