MOB Dress Shopping Need Help

Ok... So my Mother and I are going dress shopping for her dress this weekend...

Where did everyone's mother get their dress... we live in Nassau but are willing to travel.

My mother is around a size 16-18, ideally it would be great if we could go somewhere that she can try own some dresses.

any bridal salon has nice dresses . . .
davids bridal has some nice ones.

my mom even looked at estelles, but found nothing there. . . .

i dont even know, turhtfully where my mom got it because she chose not to bring me!

Ive heard Sugarplum has some nice dresses, especially in bigger sizes

My mom got her dress at Helen's Bridal in Commack. Not a huge selection tho.

For MOB dresses I recommend Patchogue Bridal. They have a whole room of the shop dedicated to 'mom' dresses. My mom is around that size as well, as was able to try some on for real.

I've heard Sugarplums in Lynbrook is a good place.

I am going through the same thing with my mom right now and I too would love to hear the names of some stores where she could get a dress from.

mom and I are doing the same thing...

Mom discovered that nordstrom's actually has a really nice selection online. I bet the roosevelt field mall store would have them....

my aunt was just telling me about a place in LI called Queen of Hearts that specializes in plus sizes - im pretty sure she said it was on old country road
