MOB dress store recommendation
my mom has been looking around for a dress for awhile now. she went to all the department stores- bloomingdale's, saks, lord & taylor, macy's, as well as BR in Carle Place (super duper expensive for MOB) & BR in Massapequa (pricey but nice).
well, she finally found her dress! she went to bridal garden on broadway in bethpage on a recommendation from someone here. she said it was a very small store but had a HUGE selection & the saleslady was a sweetheart. she tried on 8 dresses. she was so happy when i spoke to her tonight, i told her i'd make sure i told the girls on the board how wonderful the store was!! she also said the dresses were mostly under $400. the designer is avanti & the color of the dress is raisin (perfect for my fall wedding!). it is a jacket, scoop neck blouse, and a-line long skirt in a crepe material with beading.
