My bridesmaid dresses are purple, my mom wanted a plum color, but after trying it on, she hated it, we ended up ordering navy blue. Let her try on dresses in those colors and see what looks the best. As for grandmas, we have 3 walking down the isle i told them all my colors and said what ever they wanted, but suggested champagne
