Ok ladies, went shopping with mom today to look at MOB dresses. We went to one store and saw some nice dresses- with nice price tags to go along - $2200. Can you ladies recommend nice, but reasonable stores please?

My mom got hers at Davids Bridal, it's not a 'traditional' MOB dress, but she is younger and she didn't want a 'traditional' one and it looks beautiful on her! Here's the pic, her's is light blue.
I went to a Jovani trunk show with my mom recently at Bridal Reflections. Their was a nice selection of Jovani dresses. She loves two dresses, one is $750. and the other is $1200. Other than the Jovani gowns, everything else I saw was 2K and up. My mom is not willing to go that high. Here is a pic of the $750. dress. (of course my favorite was the other one, which I can't find a picture of.)

RK Bridal in Manhattan has a great selection of all dresses, wedding gowns, MOB, bridesmaids, etc... they have everything.. My mother got her dress from there. It is a gown with a small short jacket as well.. I think she is paying about $450.00 that is pretty good... Then she has to pay for alterations which can run up to 175.00 (i think)... So all in all her dress is probably close to 650.00 i guess it is not too bad.. FH's mother also ordered her dress from there as well but i am not sure how much she paid...

My mom got her's in Macy's in Smithhaven Mall....less than $200. I love it and so does she....
JennChris or someone else. I don't think I could do it even with your help, LOL!, but how do you post a picture of a gown? I'd like to show everyone mine. It's a Jovani. Mich, I bought it from The Elegant Bride in Albertson. I highly recommend them. They had a nice selection and I actually found two I loved. I may get the second one for my son's wedding in November. Both have great prices.

My mom got hers at Macy's as well. It was less than $ 200.00 and was exactly what she wanted.
