Where is everyones MOB getting their dress?? Im commin up to LI wensday and wanna take my mom lookin for a dress....any ideas?
We went to 'To Be Seen' in Syosset today, they had a decent selection...not huge though. I'm interested in suggestions too!

I had a similiar post a week again and didn't get many hits on it. I need some ideas as well, I would also like a place with a good selection.
My mom did NOT was a typical MOB dress, and she's very picky. We went to Fantasia Bridal and eventually found her a gown there.. We also checked out the BR 'Mom' section and Macy Bridal.
My mom went to my bridal shop Lidia's but they didn't have many plus sizes but pretty dresses there (not a huge selection), Angel's bridal which had a good selection of all sizes but she did buy her dress at totally you in bellmore or merrick.

My mom ordered her dress from Helen's in Commack. We also went to RKBridal in Manhattan since they have a HUGE selectoin for trying on.

honestly i think its rediculous what they charge for 'MOB dresses' 80% of what i have seen are $100 less than what my dress cost!!!!! I am gonna get one from a regular dress shop not bridal shop dresses for mom lol she wont spend that much either. Im gonna go to estelles, and macys, lord and taylor something like that
