My mom went to Sugarplum and fell in love with a VERY expensive dress. I took her to Totally You in Bellmore and she found almost the exact same dress for half the price. The ladies there were so sweet and they were extremely reasonable. My mom got a Jovani, and they said it would take about 3.5 months to come in and then she can get the alterations done there as well. They had a huge selection and I believe they had plenty of plus sizes.

We went to Sugarplum as well and my mom found a very beautiful dress she loved. We went to Totally You in Bellmore and they had dresses for a better price. I also definitely recommend them!!! Great service and great prices.

Same story...we went to Sugarplum and my mom really really liked this one gown but it was VERY expensive. It's a good place because they have different sizes in the dresses there. You can get a good idea of what style suits your body best. But we then went to Bridal Reflections in Massapequa and she found a much nicer dress for half the price.
Macy's Bridal will order in any size
My mom got hers at Totally You in Bellmore too. They had a great selection!

You should check into Bridal Reflections Massapequa and see if they'll give you a discount since you got your dress there, I know they do that with the bridesmaids dresses.

There is a plus size dress store on Merrick Avenue in Merrick town. Not sure of the name.
Nordstroms has some good things. Also where did you get your wedding dress from? I got mine from Bridal Reflections and they offer a 10% discount for bridesmaids dresses, MOB/MOG dresses or any other family member that gets a dress there!
