So my mother and I have been shopping for dresses for her. SHe is a plus size women. We found a dress she loved but she will absolutely not pay the price it was priced for $1000. IS there any web sites to fo search for this dress or some stores that you ladies might know where to find this dress, or maybe just another dress not sooo expensive.
The store we found it in cuts our the tags and puts her own store name on it.....go figure

you may just have to search other dress shops. there are plenty of discount online retailers, but u have to know the make & model. you can try the department stores online also, nordstrom, macys, bloomies....the MOB dresses dont have to be actual 'MOB' dresses...that title just makes it more expensive.

my mom ADORES the ladies at Queen of Hearts ...
They do have a 'showcase' on their website...(and actually my mom's dress is the first one showcased)..
This is where we found the dress they have the biggest selection but the price was too high THanks for the help ladies

My mom got her's at the Bridal Suite in Patchogue. Estells in Farmingdale has a big selection of plus sized gowns. Also, I have noticed that some of the Macy's stores carry beautiful gowns in the plus size dept. that mom can wear. Happy shopping.

Actually many plus size MOB dresses at Estelles and we found Totaly you in bellmore had the best prices.

My mother is plus size as well. But we went to a place called 'My daughters wedding' (in Great Neck) and it was the best place ever. They carry a lot of sizes and your mom will DEfinitely find something she could try on in her size. Plus the dress was about $600 without alterations of course. YAY!
