Dress shopping with my mom has been, well, fun. She's a very petite woman who can wear just about anything but had a VERY specific order in her head..deep green, fitted sheer sleeves. Well, it didn't exist. She tried on tons of dresses. Then one day we saw a dress we liked (aubergine, not green) in an ad in Martha Stewart weddings. No one had the dress, but Omnibus in Babylon ordered it for her and said if she didn't like it they would keep it as inventory. It finally came in after being stuck in customs and she loves it. She said it's even prettier than in the picture. It has gorgeous beadwork that isn't visible. Well, here it is:
