So today I went to my florist, and he was telling my mom that his think it's classy when the MOB doesn't wear a corsage, just holds a little bo-k or no flowers at all (this way she can show off her bling bracelet). Now my poor mom is so confused as to what the heck she wants.
What are your mom's doing? any thought?

me too, I thought it was a nice update on the traditional corsage. Personally, I'm not a huge fan of when the mom's hold bouquets. They get lost during the reception

ITA about not having them wear corsages...they get in the way and some of them dont survive through the night. My mother will have a 'clutch' (which is basically a small bouquet). This way she can use it in some pics and not in others but will have something for walking down the aisle

When we went to our florist he said the same thing. Then my Mom was saying she doesn't even want flowers. She says, 'Lauren everyone knows I am your mother! I don't need any flower.'
WE kept them in the budget for now, now I think the MOB/MOG flowers were only liek $50 anyhow. So it wasn't a make or break thing. So I ended up telling her whatever she decides in the end is fine. But I have a feeling FMIL will want flowers. FH is definitely her favorite child and she will want everyone to know she is the Mom lol.

i'm thinking of getting the mini bouquet for my mom. i will probably do calla lilies. i just think the corsage is so dated.

That's really pretty FMIL wants a corsage and MOB there won't be one she doesn't want to be at the wedding. But call me old fashion I still like the corsage but the bracelet idea it great but I don't know if FMIL like pearls

Unfortunately my mom won't be with me at our wedding because she passed away a couple of years ago, but I think my sisters (I have 5 older sisters) will probably wear corsages, we haven't talked about it yet though but I'm assuming they're doing so.
