My mother and FMIL would like to start to look for dresses. I want my mom to wear something modern, but nothing too tight. I also don't want her to wear anything with a jacket (not that there's anything wrong with it ) What are some places for moderately prices MOB/ MOG dresses where both my mother and FMIL could start looking. Def looking within the Nassau area.

I would travel to estelles, I got my prom dress there. I ordered my BM dresses through Bridal Elegance so I would also consider going there too...Thank you!

Really, David's Bridal has some beautiful MOB dresses and pretty inexpensive.

Try the department stores as well. Nordstrom in Roosevelt Field has a very large selection of evening gowns, and I think they are nicer than what we saw at some of the more traditional MOB stores.

En-toto-Couture in Great Neck or Sugar Plum in Garden City. My mom has had great luck/experiences at both!!
