My mom is really getting to me!!!! she has been so helpful and great but when it comes to talking about anybody coming to the house before the wedding she flips.
I can't have my bms get ready at the house since it's 'too many girls' . now she's saying that she can't invite over Fh's parents to dinner NYE b/c she doesn't want a mess, or to be doing any work before the wedding or stay up late....which is fine but they are already staying at a hotel and we are doing the rehearsal dinner at the hotel...i thought it would be nice to have them over even just for coffee! She thinks if she invites him then his whole OOT fam is going to come over to the house. Ultimately, she's kinda resentful b/c she says 'haven't i done enough?' ..why dont u let his parents do something. (his parents are from OOT and haven't contributed)
ahhh i'm going to go nuts! I love my mom but this stress is making me

Mabey there is an underlying reason she doesnt want anyone at the house? is she self concious or anything? Is the house small? or mabey after the holidays and stuff she just doesnt want alot of people there? She will come around if you tell her how important it is too you and that you promise to keep the crowds to a minimum lol!

Awww hang in there dahling...Take a deep breath ;) I am going to go through the same issues. My mom is going to feel the same way because I know FH's family is not going to contribute.

I wish there was. My parents house is huge! so that can't be an excuse. She is stressed about the holidays i know. And I understand her to some extent b/c my brothers gfs will be sleeping there too..lots of ppl in the house but still! Can't she suck it up for one weekend! All of FH's family is staying at the hotel and i thought it was nice for just one night to have his parents and grandma over.

yeah i def think it's because they aren't paying for anything and haven't been involved in the wedding planning that she's getting pissy. His mom didn't answer her email which really sent her over the edge...apparently his mom didn't get it. ahhhh i'm trying to breathe! not to mention i have 2 finals tomorrow.

Girl, I know all about it.. I was just asking if I should be pissed (and yeah I am) about FH's sister not responding to my parents email to her...Don't get me started....LOL
She makes me want to do this
But try and focus on your exams to take your mind off the drama!!
