How much were they on average from a regular bridal store? My mom wants to start shopping soon and I want to give FHs mom an idea too because she doesnt have a ton of money to spend on it. Any help is appreciated!

My Mom got lucky and got a great gown for under $300.
All of the gowns my FMIL liked in bridal shops were over $500-600. She's very plus-sized, so the extra material made the dresses $50-$100 more. She's going to check Nordstrom, Lord & Taylor, even JC Penny to see if she can find something.

My FMIL spent over $800 on hers (Montage by Mon Cheri) and my mom spent around $350 on hers (Jade by Jasmine), but she bought hers in Florida, and they're cheaper down there.

Look at the Jade collection by jasmine. They are usually under 400 and they are very elegant and 'young'.

My moms dress was around $600 I think. You could spend anywhere from $300 to $650 I believe.
