So my FMIL has said from the beginning that she wanted to get a green dress for the wedding...and she did. Now my mother went dress shopping and she fell in love with a dress that is also green! My mother knew that she got a green dress and she says she doesn't want to cause any unnessary drama....but is it weird to have both the mothers in the same color dresses??

MOB/MOG Question
Are they two different greens? If one is a lighter green and one is darker, I don't think it would be that bad.

MOB/MOG Question
I let my mom pick first and then my FMIL chose a color that complemented that color. My mom is wearing silver and FMIL an icy blue.
I agree though how similar are the greens? It might look nice together.

MOB/MOG Question
I don't think it's a big deal that they wear the same color but do you think your FMIL would be insulted or upset? And are they the same exact shade? As long as no feelings are hurt it might look like you planned it that way and work out beautifully :)

MOB/MOG Question
Shouldn't your mom technically have been the one to pick a dress color first?

This.
As long as nobody feels upstaged, I think they can wear whatever colors they want, different or not.
