Does anyone know (or FH/DH's) of any hobby shops where I can get model trains for my DH? Specifically, I'm looking for a concor (N scale ) nuclear power plant model that is sold out on this website...and I can't find it anywhere. DH is very upset about this. Let me know....thanks much.

theres a place on sunrise highway in nassau i passed today.....dh read it out i think it was trainland??? - sorry but i don't know which town (soemwhere between valley stream and merrick!)

You can go to Willis Hobbies, I know the owner for years, and my sister works there. They have a great selection. They are on Willis Ave. in Mineola.

Not sure where you're located, but there's a place in Ronkonkoma called The Wrong Island Railroad. They have a bunch of stuff and you should take your FH there to see the layout...it's awesome!!! (My son is totally into the train thing)

Ok...I've written them all down. I been trying to call Wrong Island Railroad all morning, but no answer....maybe they are closed on Mondays? I will try the other ones later.
