if someone tells you the music @ your wedding was too 'modern' for them to dance to - does that mean they thought the music suxed?

They were probably looking forward to a little more oldies. Honestly Trish, you're never going to make EVERYONE happy! Im sure your wedding was fenominal and dont let these comments get to you and start thinking silly things. It was a celebration of you and Matt and whether there was modern music or old farts' music who cares as long as you two had an amazing day!

I don't know anything about your wedding but I do know that people just look to say crap sometimes.
If someone said that to me about a wedding, I would assume that they were trying to describe a lot of techno music (even though techno is not really new). I guess that's because what I hear from people my age (OLD) is that they can't get into techno and some DJs love it.
But please, I heard things about my wedding that were not even true at all. Mostly originated from 1-2 people but it is still very rude. Remember the complements you got and I am sure they outweigh the rude stuff by a lot.
