What are some modern looking venues on LI?

I never looked at it, but I always hear that Chateau Briand has a very modern look and feel....

I haven't been there, but The Metropolitan in Glen Cove looks modern from it's pics.

Yes I would say Chateau Briand too. They just updated their site with some amazing new pics!

Yea I would def say Chateau Briand... I'm getting married there, and it was the most modern-looking place we saw

when you mean modern do you mean contemporary like on the newer side or modern like funky?

flowefield has some modern to it......i know the CH is beautiful! but i don't know how far on long island you want to go.......

I actually dont mind how far it is. I love Flowerfield, but I had my prom and so i'd rather not have the wedding there too. I'm not sure why I have a problem with that though lol.

yeah i hear ya, you want something different totally understandable......i know this is manhattan but it looks pretty modern to me its the 'hudson terrace'....i saw pictures with the rooftop lounge area and that looks hot!

One of the rooms the Normandy gives you that option. That was the reason I went to go see CB and ended up using a bigger room so I didn't get special effects.
