How many brides had a say in the what mother of bride and groom are wearing the day of the wedding?
Are they wear ball gowns?

I honestyl dont know if FH;s mom has a dress yet... and we are getting married friday. haha
i had no idea what she is wearing, i just asked her not to wear the BP colors...

I had no say... It didn't really matter as long as my mom and her weren't wearing the same colors. It's definitely not my taste... but I don't really care that much! (Not to be rude or anything)

Would you have a preference if the MOB was wearing a more steamline dress and the MOG is in a ball gown? I always thought the MOB should be a little more dolled up then the MOG, no?

I personally don't agree with this. Obviously, everyone knows a wedding is all about the Bride, etc...but, my FH was VERY adamant about making sure that his mother's dress was very beautiful and elegant. My mom's dress is stunning and so is FMIL's.
In fact, FH & I even picked out FMIL's dress!
I'd be pretty upset if I didn't get to see my FMIL's dress...
