FMIL is stressing over a dress for FBIL's wedding next April - its a beach destination wedding, so she doesn't want anything gawdy (sp?) but she wants it to be know that she is the MOG.
Anyone have any pictures from any destination weddings they went to?

Does she fit into regular missy sizes or is she in women's? Is it going to be a casual beach wedding or a dressy one? Is it a destination wedding on an island? ... the answers can help determine what kind of dress would be appropriate.
She could look really great for a beach wedding if she wore a fabulous hat.... think Kentucky derby chic.

I'm sure 90% of the 08 LIW Brides know of the issues I've had with my FMIL. One of the few things she did right was her dress. Her dress is a perfect MOG dress for either a destination wedding or a RH wedding. It just depends on which color she chooses. I will post tomorrow when I get to work. There are tons of appropriate/non-gaudy MOG dresses for destination weddings. Suggest to her to look at the new Davids Bridal Mothers dresses. They are really nice. Just a thought.

She could probably fit into Missy or women's - she is kind of a pear shape, but very tiny on top. .
It is a destination wedding on an island. . .I think the guys in the bridal party are wearing like khakis and white button down shirts, so its pretty casual.. . . I know she doesn't want a long dress, she wants something like three quarter length, a little flowy - but something that will stand out and not blend in with everyone else. . . I'm having trouble finding the right 'balance' of casual but MOG I'm babbling.
